Nominations are a fundamental part of the Big Brother experience. Each week, housemates are required to nominate two housemates for eviction. The two of more housemates with the highest number of nominations, will face the public vote. Over recent years of Big Brother however, there have been many twists to this weekly event, involving tasks, extra housemates and secret rooms.

Twists
1 - Ziggy entered the Big Brother House on Day 04. A letter from Big Brother explained to him he would be the only housemate nominating in the first round of nominations. He must choose two housemates to face the public vote.
2 - As new housemates, Gerry and Seany has to select two other housemates to join them in making nominations. They selected the twins Amanda and Sam. No other housemates nominated.
4 - Due to discussing nominations, Billi and Charley's nominations were made void, leading to Charley and Nicky escaping the face of eviction for this week.
6 - This weeks eviction was fake. Charley was evicted from the Big Brother House, interviewed and then sent straight back in.
7 - As a punishment for discussing nominations, Chanelle and Ziggy were only permitted to nominate one housemate each.
9 - As part of the Halfway House twist in Week 9, Big Brother allowed the then current halfway housemates - Amy, Jonty, Liam and Ziggy - the chance to return to the main house and become full-time housemates. However, they had to choose four housemates to replace them, with the knowledge that those four would then face the public vote for eviction. The halfway housemates chose David, Kara-Louise, Shanessa and Tracey to replace them. These four faced a double eviction.
